Who we are
We are a small team of builders, designers, and dreamers who simply love to create. Our backgrounds are rooted in both the creative and the technical, a blend of design intuition and engineering precision. And our joy comes from the process of turning ideas into physical form.
Craftsmanship to us is a form of stewardship - a way to care for what we’ve been given, create responsibly, and give back to the community that supports us. We build with respect for the people we serve, the land we build on, and the resources we’re entrusted with.

Our story
We’re a husband and wife team passionate about building uplifting spaces. Sanctuary is the culmination of our strengths, our love for design, and our shared vision of serving others through meaningful work.
I’ve been building forts since I could hold a hammer. My childhood was spent trying to make each fort better than the last. I feel blessed to now do the same thing as an adult.
My professional background is in product design and engineering. Building ADUs brings together two things I love - the intuitive beauty of design, and the technical precision of engineering.
Zac
My primary background is healthcare, where I helped people move, heal, and get stronger through physical therapy. I loved the connection and care that work required, and that same desire to support people eventually led me into more creative paths.
I explored the arts and built a cosmetic tattooing business from the ground up, which taught me what it takes to bring a vision to life, led with a people first mindset.
